Pets Vet Gilroy is proud to serve the Gilroy, CA area for everything pet-related. Our veterinary clinic and animal hospital is run by Dr. Suzanne Colbert, who is a licensed, experienced Gilroy veterinarian.
Our team is committed to educating our clients in how to keep your pets healthy year round, with good nutrition and exercise. Pets Vet Gilroy stays on top of the latest advances in veterinary technology and above all, remembers that all animals and pets need to be treated with loving care in every check-up, procedure, or surgery.
Dr. Suzanne Colbert

Dr. Suzanne Colbert is a 1992 graduate of the University of California School of Veterinary Medicine. She interned at the Veterinary Medical and Surgical Group in Ventura. Dr. Colbert enjoys all aspects of general practice including Internal Medicine, Soft Tissue Surgery, and WellCare for puppies, and kittens, and has a soft heart for geriatrics.
Dr. Colbert has called Gilroy home since 1994 and has practiced locally. She has two children who are young adults and one daughter still attending Christopher High School. She has been very active in her children’s schools, supporting choir, band, and drama. She has previously produced multiple Children’s Plays for South Valley Civic Theater. She also has been involved with a support group for families of children with special needs. Dr. Colbert has a special fondness for wildlife with a special love of raptors and bobcats and has been honored to donate veterinary services to W.E.R.C. in Morgan Hill, a non-profit organization that provides Wildlife Education and Rehabilitation to the South County Area.
